As we continue to “stay at home” and our students are trying to figure out online schooling, it’s important to make sure that they are not isolated emotionally. Teens need social interactions. We want to provide a safe way to connect during this unique season of life. 

Outside of our weekly Zoom Hangouts and Youth Discord Server we are also launching a youth Minecraft Realms Server to be a fun place for connection and interaction during this season of the pandemic!

For students to join and play on our new minecraft server they will  need a copy of Minecraft for mobile (Android or iphone), console (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch), or the Windows 10 addition that can be purchased from the windows 10 app store on any PC.

Once students have the game on whatever device they have chosen they can then join our Youth Server!

Minecraft SERVER RULES

• There are Community Chests & starter supplies for new players near spawn. You may take what you need from these chests but don’t be greedy.

• The garden, barns, and mine house close to the Castle are for community use, but please replant and leave two of each animal for breeding (breed if you can; you get XP for it anyway).

• Do not destroy Villages.

• Do not destroy, build on, or or near the community structures (ie. Community farm, mine house, and castle.)

• Use of the neighbors’ farms is up to the farm owner. Do not assume it is free for the taking.Do not ride horses or otherwise interact with animals if they are named or in pens and are not yours.

• If you are going to start a build, please finish it. If an unfinished build is inquired about by an admin, please give a timeline for when you think it may be completed. If a build is left unfinished for too long, an admin may complete it or take it down.

• Keep the language and content/topics PG13 please.

• Do not type gibberish into the chat since it moves so fast it is hard enough for players to keep up with what is being said.
