FYC SUMMER RETREAT

Saturday, July 11th - Monday, July 13th, 2026

From the afternoon of July 11th to the morning of July 13th , the Flagstaff Youth Co-Op invites middle and high school students to step away from the noise and into a weekend of connection, reflection, and shared experience. Set in the beauty of Northern Arizona, this summer retreat is designed as a space to unplug, breathe deeply, play, and remember what it means to belong.

Our Theme, “The Practices”, will explore these 7 topics:

Prayer / Gratitude

Music / Art / Communion

Contemplation

Community Connection

Meditation / Movement / Mindfulness

Service / Generosity

Activism / Social Justice

Throughout the weekend, we’ll explore rhythms that help us reconnect—with ourselves, with others, and with the Divine. There will be space for gratitude, creativity, stillness, movement, conversation, and care—for ourselves, for one another, and for the world around us. Whether you come full of questions, faith, doubt, or curiosity, you belong here.

FYC is a place where meals are shared, laughter is easy, and real connection matters. Rooted in the way of love embodied in the life of Jesus, this retreat is an invitation to grow and to discover what it looks like to live with purpose—together.

Retreat Location: We will be staying 2 nights at a beautiful 2.5 acre property that backs the National Forest. This home sits above Doney Park Valley providing gorgeous views of Mt Elden and Mt Humphreys. It includes an expansive deck, a billiards room, a full-size pickle ball court, a basketball hoop, cornhole, & ping pong table. We will also be driving to a few locations around Flagstaff.

Trip Cost: $80 per student
